The ladies of YellowBike Den Helder won after seven years the Dutch Cup again. The hometeam placed a big run and ended the first quarter with a 30-16 lead. Perik Jumpers came along in the next ten minutes but there was still a gap of eleven points in the break.
Remarkable detail is the return van Krista van Alten. She is back after months of recovering from an injury. She had an important role in their win over Perik Jumpers.
Perik Jumpers started the second half with another break and they closed the gap till 47-42. Closer than that was impossible and especially in the last ten minutes Yellow Bike finished the job. They won with 83-60 the Dutch Cup and this is the sixth cuptitle in the history of the club.
